I can't believe Marriages, they never seem to last,
It was love for a time, a time called the past,
Remember when it happened, how in love you were back then,
Now you've slammed the door to ever love again,
Is this what you meant by "Till death do us part"?
More deadly then death is the death of your heart,
Actions speak louder then words, but no actions can say:
Just how much it grieves my heart to see you throw such love away,
A lifetime to find, eternity to build,
But you threw it away when the search was fulfilled,
You stand in the courtroom, but somehow you're content,
Giving into our culture, giving up what God sent.
