Closing Doors

When life's doors start to close
And the signs are hung up
Prospects of Happiness close to none-
A new species can emerge from the Earth.
One of encouragement and bravery
In a topsy-turvy world-
Shedding the dirt and shaking off the chunky bits of defeat.
Rising higher and higher
Above the pep talk of this or that-
Looking from above and watching the signs on the door
And the neon lights flashing
Open.
