The Love Connection

There weren't many highlights in my life
But that all changed when I met my wife
With blue eyes, freckles and a wild red mane
And both hair and her could never be tamed
We've been together now for many years
Had a lot of laughs and shed some tears
She's the love of my life plus my best friend
And if I ever lost her my life would end
