Reading Your Mind
They say it is a giftto read another mind
I say it is a curse
a torture of some kind
Why know
what you can never tell
for conveying the message
disaster will spell
They say it is a gift
to read another mind
I say it makes me lonely
to see where all are blind
Even if you say
you love me nonetheless
you'll always be afraid
and at my knowledge guess
They say it is a gift
to read another mind
I say it is an illness
and hope for a cure to find
