From an early age on I needed a place to hide from the world. But somehow it never seemed to work, because they always found me. But the need is still there and provided inspiration for this poem.

Ever seen an elephant
trying to hide
in a rabbit hole
That's me

Don't disturb her
She thinks
she's a rabbit

I love this poem more than I think there could possibly be English words to describe! It gives me the feeling of "Aha! Someone has experienced this state of being, too!" By that I mean, it is definitely an experience I can connect with because I have felt it for so long! Great work!
