|Easter is coming soon.|
A perfect man. A perfect place.
And yet it ended in disgrace.
For, when forbidden fruit was tried,
The man and paradise both died.
A another perfect man from God
Came to this world that now was flawed.
This second man assumed our sin,
So paradise could let us in.
His death allowed God to forgive,
That dead men everywhere might live.
And heaven gladly welcomed then,
Imperfect, yet still perfect, men.Copyright 2018 lostcerebellum. All rights reserved. FifteenMinutesOfFiction.com has been granted non-exclusive rights to display this work. For permission to reprint this item, please contact the author.
