Oh, the ridiculous things I come up with when there's a three-year-old in the house. :P

The itsy bitsy raisin went into Toby's mouth
Then when he swallowed it started moving south
Out came the acids and turned it all to soup
And the itsy bitsy raisin came out of him as poop.

Maybe ridiculous, but funny just the same. And it does raise a very compelling question. When children in Australia swallow things, do they start moving north?

I think they would if they were using an inverse map projection (south-up). But if they use the same mercator/peters/whatever maps that we use, then I think they would think of south as down, just as we do.
