TV Ads Drive me Crazy

Advertising is the bane of modern life and it only gets worse, never better. I understand the need for ads and believe me some I even enjoy but it's when they get so intrusive that it is irritating. I as well as most of you will enjoy watching the upcoming Super Bowl ads almost as much as the game. Now ask me again next summer when I've seen that same ad for the thousandth time how much I like it. To tell the truth I can put up with almost any TV advertising until they played the same ad so many times I want to scream.

Next is the problem of volume, I just don't understand why they need to run ads with an increased volume of sound. You are listening to a program and you can hardly hear the dialog and then they break for commercial and the sound blasts you out of your chair. I have heard the networks deny this but I don't believe it any more than the ad that is blasting in my front room.

Then there is political ads, I feel these should be against the law. The candidate needs so much money to run TV ads that they end up making deals with the devil. There is no way a person can make a reasonable choice by listening to a TV spot and yet they feel the one who spends the most money for TV ads will be the winner.
