The Legend of the Unicorn

The legend of the unicorn comes from many years ago
With golden horn upon their head and coat as white as snow
Both strong and fierce and beautiful as anything could be
Yet no man could ride this noble beast for they ran wild and free
So what happened to the unicorn is the question we all ask
They couldn't have just disappeared without some evil task
If this gallant steed had just one flaw, it was his mighty pride
This sealed his fate for mankind hates when his power is denied
Their avarice turned lethal and the beast was hunted down
For all must bow before mankind or no longer be around
