Favorite Books

Anything by John Grisham. I also enjoy Dean Koontz (I really like his Odd Thomas series). Some of my other favorites include: The Historian, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Blue Like Jazz, Sphere, Ender's Game, Enchantment, A Time to Kill, The Chamber, The DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, This list will have to be a work in progress because I love books!

About

Right now I'm Youth Pastoring in the small Maine Village of Spruce Head. I love working with young people and seeing them grow in their relationship with God. There is no greater thrill than to be involved in the spiritual growth of another person!

Nate: Canine Companions.

Also, don't forget the superhero writing prompt! :)

I'm not going to have any free time until after next Wednesday. I'll give you a call sometime to talk about when we could all get together.

Hey, you should come join us for youth group tomorrow night. 5:45 - $6.00 for bowling. :)

Hey Nate, I gave your brother a ride to work this morning. I was saying that we should all three of us get together sometime to do something.

He said we should do an Indiana Jones marathon. :)

Hey Nate, hope you're doing well. :) I'd love to hear what's up with you now.

I wanted to tell you...if ever you were going to do the writing prompt, this is the week for you, because it's about PUNS!

NATE!

How's your week been?

Are you blown away by tonight's LOST episode?

which only answered half my question. ;) Should we eat on the way, or have lunch with you?

I think that'll work. Ben has never eaten at Moody's and he wants to try them out, so maybe we'll head out early enough to stop there on the way.

Unless you'd like to join us when we do our Moody's trip - in which case we could just plan on coming to your place and have lunch with you. If you're in Rockland 'til noon, maybe we should plan to arrive at 12:30?

Nate - maybe we should wait and come out Thursday morning then?

Nate, I just talked to Ben, and his schedule is open. If it's still good for you, we plan to come down Wednesday evening, and stay for a couple days. Probably head back Saturday AM?

Nate, I just spoke with Ben, and he thinks he can do next Thursday and Friday. We're actually talking about heading out right after youth group on Wednesday night, but that would mean we'd get to your place kind of late. (Like, between 10 and 11 o'clock, probably). Would that be okay?

Hey Nate, Ben and I were talking yesterday about a Lost marathon. We were wondering what your week looks like next week. We thought maybe Thursday/Friday? We could do it up here or down there...

Yeah, driving in the storm doesn't really appeal to me. :) By the way, I just picked up DK's "The Face" and read it. If I see you at Christmas I'll loan it to you, along with any other of my DK books that you might not have read.

I found out last night that Ben picked up season 3, and is already finished with disc one. :P Probably you've done the same. Anyway, hearing Ben say that he's already watched a complete disc "but wouldn't mind watching them again sometime" made me realize - I'm not in such a rush to see these that it's worth making my schedule even crazier this Christmas season. Maybe in January sometime? If you've already watched them by then, and aren't interested in watching them again, that's okay.

I'll talk to Ben tonight. I really want to do this, but I'm not sure if I can make it. I just got a contract to write 90 math problems in the next two weeks. YIKES!

If I can do it, I think it would have to be Monday & Tuesday of next week. Would that work for you?

Oh, I still have both those problems. It's a tricky process, that's for sure.

They're just lyrics right now. Hopefully, I will have music for them eventually.

Hey Nate, Ben wants to know when you're getting season 3, and when we're coming down to do a Lost marathon with you? :)

Hey Nate, I think this poem is right up your alley: Ode To The Grainy Sweetness Of Sugar
