Ahh, you caught that, nice. I was going for that exact feeling of the awkward pause, we seem to get when we have asked someone out and we are unsure of the outcome.

Thank you for commenting. Well, this poem is a slurry of feelings and emotions, of what I have been going through lately. I work in the auto industry, and the slow economic times have brought on a heavy weight of stress. Although the stress is there the feelings are fleeting and I move on.
The devil could be several things: like the dealership or the government, bills- with me being the monkey I guess I am not making the change I should be, hence me riding the back of the devil (which I feel now as I write this is all things stressing me). Thank you for inquiring.
